Bringing Made in Italy quality and reliability to the world with a range of products and services dedicated to incontinence management. This is the ambition of Santex, and it has been clear since 1961, the year it was founded by Alberto Santurro.
The values of a family-run business are combined with an approach that is always oriented towards innovation and excellence, with the aim of guaranteeing effective and appropriate solutions that meet people’s needs: such as Ortovatt, the first synthetic under-wadding made in 1971 without the use of glues.
Santex has always been synonymous with evolution: this is how, in 1979, Ortoplast was created, the first plaster bandage in Italy with rapid setting. Since 1988, Santex has specialised in the manufacture of incontinence aids and, between 1992 and 1994, the Sarego and Meledo factories were expanded and innovated, significantly increasing their production capacity. The opening of the new automatic warehouse in Meledo is just the latest intuition of a company that is always future-oriented.
